I am beyond thrilled to introduce our 2025 artist collaborators for The Functional Teacher's new 2025 collection. This year, I have had the privilege to work with two incredibly talented women who are making waves in the art scene: Alex Mason and Hayley Pearson. Their stunning artworks have brought a new level of beauty and inspiration to our products, and I can't wait to share them with you.

Alex Mason: 'Meadow'

We fell in love with Alex Mason's cover design, named 'Wild One', in her collection and knew we had to include it in our 2025 cover range. Renamed 'Meadow' for our range, this piece is available for purchase from Alex's store, Art by Alex Mason. The artwork has a captivating 3D effect that makes you want to run your fingers over the page to check if the paint is truly protruding. It's serene, whimsical, and utterly beautiful. We are so grateful to Alex for partnering with us and bringing this enchanting cover to life.

Hayley Pearson: 'Roots'

Hayley Pearson is a Bardi Jawi woman living in Broome, where The Functional Teacher is now based. Last year, I reached out to Hayley to commission a cover for our 2025 collection, aiming to incorporate Indigenous art and highlight the importance of women in our lives. Hayley brought my vision to life with her stunning creation, 'Roots.'

In Hayley's words: "This artwork showcases the representation of women, children, and our old women. It shows the connection between the three and how we are all here to empower, uplift, and acknowledge the women in our lives. The bright colours are used to represent the brightness of women shining through. We are all strong, powerful, and meaningful."

I am deeply thankful to Hayley for her incredible contribution and for supporting my small business.
