Welcome to The Functional Teacher, your go-to destination for teacher planners and stationery. I'm Cayli, the owner of this venture, and I'm thrilled to share a bit about myself and the passion that drives this business.
Education has always been a part of my life, with my mother being a teacher. From a young age, I found myself spending countless hours in the classroom, which naturally shaped my aspirations. It was clear to me that becoming a teacher was not just a career choice; it was a calling. I wholeheartedly embraced this path and currently work full time as a Pre-Primary teacher, dedicating my time and energy to educating young minds.
My teaching journey has taken me to various places, including Victoria and Western Australia, and even internationally in South Africa, England, and Malaysia. These experiences have not only enriched my professional life but also broadened my perspective on education and the unique needs of teachers.
In addition to my professional journey, I am a proud mother of twin daughters who are now toddlers. Parenthood has shown me the value of staying organised and being on top of everything life throws at us. Balancing a demanding teaching career with motherhood has deepened my appreciation for the importance of effective planning and organisation.
This is where my passion for teacher planners and stationery comes into play. The Functional Teacher was born from the fusion of my love for teaching and my dedication to staying organised. We take pride in offering a range of minimalist, durable, and practical planners that are designed to help teachers like you focus on what truly matters.
